Summer recipe: strawberry pancake

Ingredients

Pancakes

2 eggs

500 ml (soy or almond) milk

Pinch of salt

250 grams flour

1 or 2 sachets vanilla sugar (for sweet pancakes)

Butter or oil to bake

 

Filling

500 grams strawberries

Supplies

frying pan

whisk

ladle

Preparation pancakes

  1. Whisk the 2 eggs with a pinch of salt
  2. Add the flour
  3. Add the milk bit by bit whilst continuing to whisk, to avoid lumps
  4. Heat oil or butter in the frying pan and use the ladle to add the batter
  5. Do not put too much batter in at one time but swirl the fryer to cover the bottom of the pan
  6. When the top is almost dry, turn the pancake and bake the other side until golden brown

 

Preparation filling

  1. Remove the stems from the strawberries
  2. Cut them into smaller pieces
  3. Divide the pieces over the pancake
  4. Add honey, sugar or powdered sugar (if you use the vanilla sugar then you should not sweeten the strawberries)

 

Tip

Short on time? Use pre-baked pancakes. Of course you can add whipped cream to add a touch of luxury to your pancakes.
