Dutch Delight muffin with red-white-blue filling

Ingredients

(For 12 pieces)

150 grams blueberries

150 grams thinly sliced red strawberries

150 grams sliced pineberries (can be replaced by banana or apple)

50 grams butter or margarine

250 gram flour

60 gram sugar

2.5tsp baking powder

salt

2 eggs

150 ml milk

Supplies

Muffin baking tray

Paper muffin cases

Whisk

Sieve

Bowl

2 spoons

1 knife

1 teaspoon

Dutch Delight Muffin

Preparation Red-White-Blue Muffin

  1. Preheat the oven at 200°C
  2. Melt the butter
  3. Sieve the flour into the bowl
  4. Add sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt
  5. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl with the milk
  6. Add the eggs and butter to the dry ingredients
  7. Mix all well
  8. Put the muffin cases in the muffin baking tray
  9. Cover the bottom with blueberries
  10. Add one spoon of batter to cover the berries
  11. Put a layer pineberries on top of the batter
  12. Add another spoon of batter to cover the pineberries
  13. Put the final layer of red strawberries on top
  14. Add the final spoon of batter to cover the strawberries
  15. Put in the oven for 20 minutes
