50 grams butter or margarine

250 grams flour

Strawberry jam filled muffins – 12 pieces


  1. Preheat the oven at 200 °C (390 °F)
  2. Melt the butter
  3. Sieve the flour into the bowl
  4. Add sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt
  5. Wisk the eggs in a separate bowl with the milk
  6. Add the eggs and butter to the dry ingredients
  7. Mix all well
  8. Put the paper muffin molds in the muffin case
  9. Fill the muffin papers up to 2/3 with the batter using the spoons
  10. With the back of the teaspoon, make a hole in the middle of the batter
  11. Use the other teaspoon to add a teaspoon of strawberry jam to the batter
  12. Put the muffin case in the oven for 20 minutes
