Strawberry turnover, alternative for apple turnover

Ingredients

puff pastry

500 grams strawberries

sugar

1 to 2 eggs

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven at 200°C / 390 degF
  2. if dough is frozen allow to thaw
  3. Hull the strawberries and cut in half lenghtwise
  4. Divide the strawberries over the 10 pieces of puff pastry
  5. Lay out the strawberries on one triangle half of your puff pastry square
  6. Fold the pastry diagonally in half, over the strawberry filling to create a triangle
  7. Press down the edges with a fork
  8. Brush the pastries with egg
  9. Add sugar to taste
  10. Bake for 20 minutes
